| After boarding [[Hull A67-5309]], the party gets settled in to rescue [[npcs:Vycter Shepherd|Vycter]]. [[pcs:Drix]], [[pcs:Morgan]], [[pcs:Captain Quintain|Captain]] and [[pcs:Gable Dagrun|Gable]] head for the bridge. [[pcs:Andromeda Sprout|Andromeda]] takes the Shepherd kids to one of the staterooms and gets them settled into crash couches. [[npcs:Derix Shepherd|Derix]] and [[Deyanna Shepherd|Deyanna]] came to [[pcs:Andromeda Sprout\Andromeda]] asking her for help finding [[npcs:Kaydn Shepherd|Kaydn]] - they had been looking for him for over an hour, with no luck. Andromeda joined in the search, and with no luck, turned to the ship's camera system to help. The camera system revealed that he was last seen on the lower cargo deck under the stairs. |

| | Closer inspection of the area found a hidden panel behind the straps storage rack. They tried to force it open, but couldn't get anything into the seams to pry it open. Finally, they called [[npcs:ED1-50N]] up to assist. He revealed that there seemed to be some sort of hidden mechanism that would only unlock for an organic (person). He was most puzzled, as this was not something on the plans for the vessel, and surely was something he should have been aware of as the [[setting:Hull A67-5309]]'s chief engineering assembly robot. |
