+Saareeh has known for her whole life she wanted to be a Doctor. Fortunately for her, as a granddaughter of [[Cole Pike]], one of the founders of [[setting:Pike Mutual]], the funds were available for her to do so. During her college years, she developed an interest in Robotics, and was a member of the university's award winning robotics team. In medical school, she became active in the [[setting:Robot Liberation Society]], a political activist group that lobbies for Robot rights. She eventually gave that up to focus on her studies, and graduated with honors.
+After graduation, she joined the Directorate Navy, where she was assigned to the [[setting:DNS Veng-har]] as the junior ship's doctor. During a refugee relief mission in the [[setting:Zugho]] system, Saareeh realized one of her patients was not as they appeared, and stopped him before he was able to sabotage a critical ship system. Saareeh earned a Directorate Starburst for Heroism, and a promotion to the [[setting:DNS Riolynn]] as it's ship's doctor.
