The Tangle is the collective term referring to the [[Threads]] that allow interstellar travel.

The term was coined in 2103 by astrophysicist [[npcs:Robert Quillio]] during a presentation about the US interstellar program to the White House when he exclaimed //"it's a goddamned tangle of stars out there."//
