Wyoh became a freelance Broker upon graduating high school, and thought that would be her career for life. Unfortunately, she got caught up in a raid on her workplace in 2511, because her boss was laundering money. Though she was not involved, and the DA declined to press charges against her, the lead investigator was sure she was guilty, and to this day is looking for a reason to charge her.

She spent the next four years wandering the Directorate, until she was drafted in the Directorate Marines. It was in the Marines she found her calling as a support medic. She served honorably in the Marines for 8 years, until she was injured during an assault, and discharged as a disabled vet.
