Aphus Station

Aphus Station is the refueling station orbiting Aphus, the third gas giant in the Celara system. The gas giant Aphus is the anchor point for the Cethalara Delta Thread, one of the most important threads in the Cethalaran Directorate, as it links Dorax and Cethalara.

Aphus Station is unique in the Celara system, as it is fully automated, being staffed by robots and AI, and has no living crew and no spin gravity. There are limited accommodations onboard, and living beings are restricted in the amount of time they can stay on board.

Aphus is the source of severe and frequent radiation storms, as frequent as 2-3 times an hour, and spending more than a few weeks within orbital distances can be deadly, even over time.

The station is the largest source of refined reaction drive fuel in the system - while the radiation is deadly to living beings, it does simplify the fuel refining process.

The station consists of several large fuel globes connected to docks and facilities modules, and large open framework scaffolding to hold it all together.
