The Tangle

The Tangle is the collective term referring to the Threads that allow interstellar travel.

The term was coined in 2103 by astrophysicist Robert Quillio during a presentation about the US interstellar program to the White House when he exclaimed “it's a goddamned tangle of stars out there.”
